Domain Name Registration

Securing a domain name is a process that is separate from securing a web hosting account. If you wished to do so, you could register several different domain names without ever getting a web hosting account.

Registering a domain name gives you a renewable, exclusive right to use that domain name for the duration of the term of registration, so long as you have not registered a domain name that infinges on a valid, pre-existing trademark. In other words, if you're not the Nike, you couldn't register nike.com in the hopes of selling it to Nike for a profit, as there are federal laws and domain name registrar rules that do not allow that.

Domain name registration through Mongiardo Enterprises LLC is $15.00 per year, for terms between one and ten years.
